Couponing at CVS!!!

This has been my best couponing experience yet!

When I was at my parent's house the other day, my Mom gave me her CVS Extra Care Bucks ($6.50)!!

So I went to CVS and bought Pantene Pro-V shampoo and conditioner and two tubes of Colgate toothpaste.

I had a $3.00 off coupon when I bought two Pantene products (two for $6.97) and two $1.00 off coupons for each tube of Colgate ($2.79 each). 

$6.97 - $3.00 coupon + $2.79 - $1.00 coupon + $2.79 - $1.00 coupon - $6.50 ECB = $1.05 + tax!

From this purchase, I received $6.00 in ECB for my next purchase!

So I bought nail polish ($4.99) and mascara ($5.89). I had a $1.00 coupon for the nail polish.

$4.99 - $1.00 coupon + $5.89 - $6.00 ECB = $3.88 + tax!

From this purchase, I also received $3.00 in ECB for my next purchase!

So I bought Coppertone sunscreen ($7.99). I had a $1.00 coupon for this too!

$7.99 - $1.00 coupon - $3.00 ECB = $3.99 + tax!

My grand total for this purchase was $9.54 and I saved $31.01!!!

More Baby G!!!

So...McKeever and I went to the pool again and Baby G slept the whole time!

When we came back in, she was wide awake!!!

I'm sure the flash from my camera didn't help either...

...but isn't she just the cutest thing you have ever seen?

Little brother needs a haircut!

This is Nate's little brother, Aaron!

He hasn't had a haircut since our wedding...back in October!!!

Since it's summer and HOT, he finally asked his brother to cut his hair!

After seeing this, I thought I was the one that got the haircut!

Even though it was his idea, he was still a little sad to see his hair go! 

I like his hair so much better short!

He just would not smile for me! 

Fried Green Tomato Toasters!

I love Rachael Ray and she has a recipe for Fried Green Tomatoes that I have been wanting to try!

While we were at my Aunt and Uncle's for Father's Day, I picked these gorgeous tomatoes!

I sliced two and seasoned them with salt and pepper...

I dipped them in flour...

Then coated them in egg whites and dipped them in bread crumbs...

Then I fried them in oil for a few minutes on each side...

Until they were golden brown...

Nate grilled some hamburgers and topped them with pepper-jack cheese...

We put the Fried Green Tomatoes on our burgers...

I forgot that we did not have hamburger buns, so we used toast instead! 

Yum-O!!!

Happy Father's Day Part 2!

This is what we got my dad for Father's Day!

We filled it with all of his favorites!

This past Sunday we went to my Aunt and Uncle's for Father's Day lunch!

My dad LOVED his gift!

 

We ended up staying to watch the USC Gamecocks vs. Texas A&M College World Series baseball game!

The Gamecocks won, of course! Go Cocks!

My new favorite cd right now is this...

I love track 5. It's called "Remind Me" and is a duet with Carrie Underwood!

Pawley's Island 2011

My aunt and uncle have a beach house down in Pawley's Island, SC! They love us so much and let us go with them when they go! We went back in April and again at the beginning of June!

It was very windy in April!

We made some friends!

We saved the starfish!

I had never seen so many clams before!
