Couponing, again!

My mom asked me to print off some more of my bridal portraits so she could pass them out to family!
So I went to walgreens.com again! They had another deal going on...$10.00 off when you spend $20.00!
I got 7 8x10's for...

$20.93 - $10.00 = $10.93 + tax!

Couponing!

I went to Walgreens to stock up on shaving cream since I was almost out!

I had two $1.50 off coupons for the shaving cream and two $0.75 off coupons for the shaving gel!

Walgreens had the shaving cream and gel on sale for $1.99 each with a store coupon!

$1.99 + $1.99 - $1.50 - $1.50 = $0.98 for two shaving creams!

$1.99 + $1.99 - $0.75 - $0.75 = $2.48 for two shaving gels!

Fun at the Lake!

We went to the lake over the weekend!

My dad wanted to take the boat out since he found an old tube!

I didn't go tubing...I wasn't wearing an appropriate bathing suit (I would have lost it)!

However, it was an adventure to say the least...oh, and Nate lost his wedding band!
He said, "it's another treasure lost to the abyss of Lake Murray."

Christmas in July!

I have always wanted to make my own Christmas ornaments, so I thought I would give it a try!
I bought these during the after Christmas sale at Hobby Lobby last year!

So, I went and got some of this to use as a filler!

I cut about 10 inches and then, very carefully, pulled out the wires that were twisted in the middle!

Then I cut the garland into 4 pieces and put 2 pieces in the ornament (one at a time). 

I used a Q-tip to push the garland in the ornament!

This is the finished product!

Before, the light over our kitchen table was not centered.

New Recipe - Crunchy Onion Chicken!

First, you get 2 cups of French Fried Onions...

Mix with 2 Tablespoons of flour, and crush them in a plastic bag!

Next, beat one egg. Dip boneless, skinless chicken breasts in to the egg, then coat them in the fried onion mixture.

Spray a baking dish with PAM and put the coated chicken in the dish.

Bake at 400 degrees for 20-30 minutes or until no longer pink in the center.

I cooked mashed potatoes and green beans to go with!

Backyard Makeover!

Lowe's had a great deal on Adirondack chairs the other day.

We originally just got the two green ones to go around the fire-pit, but liked them so much we went back and got two brown ones!

Then we went to Walmart to get two glass-top tables!

Food Lion Couponing!

I went grocery shopping at Food Lion the other day and got these great deals with coupons!

They had the V8-Fusion on sale for $2.50 (regularly $3.89).

I had a B2G1 free coupon and a $1.00 off coupon.

When I went to the Food Lion Kiosk, it printed a store coupon for $1.00 off!

When they added the free V8 back into my total they used the regular price instead of the sale price!

So...

$2.50 + $2.50 + $2.50 = $7.50 - $3.89  - $1.00 - $1.00 = $1.61!!

I also had a $1.00 off coupon for the Febreze and added a $1.00 off Ecoupon to my VIP card!

$2.99 - $1.00 - $1.00 = $0.99!

I also had a $1.50 off coupon for the Lean Pocket which was on sale for $2.00, so I got it for $0.50!

The Food Lion Kiosk also printed a coupon for a free pack of Kool-Aid bursts! I won't drink them, but I figured my students will when we go back to school! Can't beat free!

The Dove was on sale for $2.00 each and I had two $0.75 off coupons, which made them $1.25 each!

The BIC razors were on sale for $4.99 and I had a $3.00 off coupon, which made them $1.99!

Couponing is so addicting, but this is all stuff we use on a regular basis!

Walgreens Couponing!

My Mom and Grandmother asked me to print off some bridal portraits and wedding pictures so I decided to give Walgreens a try. They had a 20% off coupon in the sales ad for enlargements, but there was a 50% off coupon on the website!!!

We needed some hand soap, which was on sale for $0.99 each with a store coupon.

I got all of this for $7.22 and saved $8.29!

The deal here was really on the pictures, I got two 8x10's and one 5x7 for $3.78 + tax!

 They were great quality too!

In a separate visit...

The week before I went to buy these...

They were on sale 2 for $2.00 and I had two $2.00 off coupons!

...but they were sold out. So, I asked for a raincheck.

When I went back the other day, they had exactly four on the shelf!

They redeemed the raincheck and let me use my coupons!

Total spent: $0.28 (just the tax)!

Total saved: $4.00!

CVS Couponing!

I went to CVS the other day to stock up on Colgate toothpaste on sale 3 for $5.00. I had three $0.75 off coupons for the toothpaste and was hoping to print off a store coupon to use for the toothpaste as well, but unfortunately their machine was down. I still got a great deal. I also had a $0.50 off coupon for Honey Nut Cheerios!

 After the coupons the toothpaste was $0.91 each and the cereal was $0.50!

Total spent: $3.25 + tax

Total saved: $7.32

In a separate visit...

I went to stock up on Cascade! The big bottles were on sale for $3.99 and I had two $1.00 off coupons!

I scanned my card (which is technically my mom's) and it printed out $7.00 in Extra Care Bucks!

I didn't want any of those ECB's to go to waste so I grabbed a Gatorade for $0.99!

Total spent: -$0.03

Total saved: $15.57

*I did not get the three cents back though...but it was nice getting everything for free!
